Flood affected farmers of Swat Shangla and Kohistan were provided Rabi season Agriculture Inputs and tools.

Lasoona has distributed comprehensive agriculture inputs and tools packages among 2250 farmers in 7affected union councils of districts Swat, Shangla and Kohistan with the financial assistance of BMZ (Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation of Germany) and Welthungerhilfe (Formerly German Agro Action.

LASOONA Completed Training of FSAs

LASOONA has completed training of 27 Female Sales Agents (FSAs) under its USAID funded Embellished Fabrics Value Chain Project.

LASOONA signed Project Agreement with Welthungerhilfe

LASOONA signed agreement with the Germany based organization: Welthungerhilfe (formerly known as German Agro Action) for the Project title :Sustainable Agricutture Rehabilitation to ensure Food Security & Disater Prevention in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa".

Early Livelihood Recovery Project completed

The project was a joint venture of Lasoona and Welthungerhilfe and co-financed by by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation (BMZ) with the overall goal “To restore livelihoods of the flood affected population on the pre flood situation”.

Profile of LASOONA Board Members
Mr. Rahmat Hayat Mr. Hayat is the Chairman of the Society. A management graduate and has vast experience of working with different donor funded projects like PATA, Social Forestry Project Malakand/Dir, Forestry Sector Project and Asian Development Bank. He became the Board member in 2002 and then in 2008.	Mr. Jan Mohammad Khan With twenty one years of first hand diverse experience in areas of livelihood, trainings, agriculture development, social mobilization, institutional development and integrated natural resource management. He has worked experience in Govt. sector, international/national NGOs, FAO and USAID. He elected as Board member in 2011.
Mr. Mukhtar Ahmad A civil engineer by profession and has vast experience in the development sector. Presently he is working with AGES Consultants as design Engineer while previously he has worked with Social Forestry Project, SRSP, and MRDP. He elected as Board member in 2002 and reelected in 2011.	Ms. Tawheed Gul A community development expert. She has many years of experience working with various organizations particularly in development sector. She elected as Board member in 2011.
Ms. Mehnaz Fakhar She has about 8 years’ experience working in different organizations. Her present assignment is with Mercy Corps. She elected as Board member in 2011.	Mr. Shad Muhammad With over 18 years of professional experience working on donor-funded rural development and integrated agricultural/agribusiness projects, primarily in the NWFP as well other provinces of the country. An agriculturist by profession and is presently working as National Coordinator in Agribusiness Support Fund (ASF). He is elected as board member in 2010.
Mr. Sayed Iqbal Hussain A Community Development Specialist, and has worked in projects like Dir Area Development Project, BADP and FSSP. He is currently working with IRC. He became the Board member in the year 2005 and re-elected in 2008.	Mr. Azam Khan A management graduate and is the Executive Director of LASOONA and is associated with the organization since 2000. Mr. Azam Khan has vast expereince in donor funded programs and projects. He is expert in Program/Project development and management. He has also done his post graduate diploma from the Netherlands. He has about 13 years experience in the development sector.
